People of Aleppo recall martyrs of al-Sakan al-Shababi neighborhood

Today, the Martyrs’ Families Council in Aleppo made a statement on the eighth anniversary of the martyrdom of 13 fighters from the People’s Protection Units (YPG), following a “terrorist” bombing carried out by Turkish occupation mercenaries on May 29, 2016 in the al-Sakan Alal-Shababi neighborhood northwest of the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in the city of Aleppo. .

The statement was read al-Sakan al-Shababi neighborhood by one of the martyrs’ families, Sefin Amouni.

The statement stated:

 “Today we remember the targeting of the building in the al-Sakan al-Shababi neighborhood neighborhood by the terrorist brigades and armed factions 33 factions, who booby-trapped and blew up the building, which claimed the lives of martyrs from all components residing in the Youth Housing neighborhood.

We condemn this inhumane and immoral terrorist act against the people of the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods, but the people, in the spirit of resistance managed to confront these terrorists  who tried to spread strife and create chaos in the region.”

The statement stressed, "We will continue to struggle and follow in the footsteps of the martyrs."
