AL-HASAKAH

Following the reopening of the M4 international highway in the countryside of Al-Hasakah, near the village of al-Tawila west of Tel Tamer, traffic has gradually begun returning after a long period of closure.

According to ANHA correspondent on the highway, the road witnessed limited traffic movement, with several private vehicles, cargo trucks, and a few long-distance buses crossing the route, indicating a partial restoration of activity on the road.

During his coverage, our correspondent conducted several interviews with residents arriving from villages in the countryside of the occupied city of Ras al‑Ain (Serê Kaniyê). Citizen Zahra al-Ahmad said she had come from the village of al‑Ameriya after visiting relatives there, confirming that she did not encounter any obstacles on her journey and praising the Internal Security Forces for reopening and securing the road.

Meanwhile, citizen Mohammad al-Bakr, from the village of Dabsa, said while traveling toward the countryside of Tel Tamer that traffic had indeed returned to the international highway and that he had not observed any obstruction during his passage.

Yesterday, the Internal Security Forces began repositioning security checkpoints along the international highway around the village of al-Tawila in the western countryside of Tel Tamer. The move took place in the presence of commanders from the Internal Security Forces affiliated with the Syrian Interim Government, as well as security officials from al-Jazira and Aleppo regions, as part of coordination efforts to restore the road to service and ensure the safety of travelers.
