“Our goal is to end isolation, achieve physical freedom for Leader Abdullah Ocalan”

Arab intellectuals in North and East Syria believe that arming themselves with awareness and consolidating awareness of the goals of the international conspiracy that targeted the leader Abdullah Ocalan in societies is the most prominent contribution to thwarting the ongoing conspiracy with strict isolation, which in turn will lead to achieving his physical freedom as a result of popular pressure.

Leader Abdullah Ocalan has been detained for more than 24 years in Imrali Island prison in the Sea of Marmara, following an international conspiracy carried out by international and regional forces, on February 15, 1999, when Leader Abdullah Ocalan was arrested in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, and handed over to the Turkish occupation state.

The poet, Muhammad al-Mahmoud, sees the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan as a guarantee of achieving peace and stability in the Middle East. He said: “We will not rest until our demand for the freedom of the leader is achieved,” and he stressed the necessity of escalating the struggle and resistance at the various military, political and social levels to achieve his physical freedom.

Muhammad al-Mahmoud ruled out achieving what he wanted without forming widespread popular pressure, as a result of international human rights and humanitarian bodies abandoning their main responsibilities of achieving justice and democracy for societies, and stressed that: “Expanding popular pressure by societies on those parties will force them to abide by their laws and push for the freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan.

The last meeting with Leader Abdullah Ocalan was held by his lawyer, Rezan Sareja and Newroz Uysal, on August 7, 2019, while his last contact with the outside world was on March 25, 2021, during a phone call with his brother Muhammad Ocalan for 5 minutes, then the call was cut off, after which severe isolation was imposed on leader Abdullah Ocalan by the Turkish authorities.

The writer, Ahmed al-Sayer, agrees on the importance of forming popular pressure as a result of the continuation of the international conspiracy to the present day. In the face of these endeavors, one must arm ourselves with awareness, realize their goals, and cut the threads of conspiracy to prevent the continued implementation of their plans, which in turn will contribute to achieving the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Ahmad al-Sayer pointed out that the peoples of North and East Syria owe to Leader Abdullah Ocalan because his ideas and theses helped them achieve their freedom, so they should not stand idly by in the face of the ongoing conspiracy through the strict isolation imposed on the leader currently in Imrali prison for more than 3 years.
