One Turkish soldier killed, two surveillance camera systems, UAV damaged

People's Defense Forces fighters carried out a series of operations against the Turkish occupation army in Zap and Matina in the Mediya defense areas in Southern Kurdistan, which resulted in the killing of a Turkish soldier and the destruction of two surveillance camera systems and an occupation army drone.

The Media Center of the People's Defense Forces issued a statement regarding the operations carried out by its forces and the attacks by the Turkish occupation army, which read:

“* On June 8 at 14:30, Free Women’s Units fighters carried out a sniper operation against the Turkish occupation army on Bamarna Hill, resulting in the death of a Turkish soldier.

* On June 8, at 08:28, Free Women’s Units fighters destroyed the Turkish occupation army’s surveillance camera system in the resistance square in Judi Hill, using sniper tactics.

At 16:10, our forces targeted enemy soldiers in the resistance square on Judi Hill with heavy weapons.

At 16:30, our forces interfered with the movements of the Turkish occupation army, which was trying to position itself in the resistance square on Judi Hill, with heavy weapons, and its movements were stopped.

* On June 9, at 10:10, our forces interfered with the movements of the Turkish occupation army, which was trying to position itself in the resistance square in Judi Hill, with heavy weapons, and its movements were stopped.

At 18:10, Free Women’s Units fighters destroyed a Turkish occupation army drone in the Resistance Square on Judi Hill with individual weapons.

* On June 10, at 02:30, our forces, using sniper tactics, destroyed the Turkish occupation army’s surveillance camera system in the Resistance Square on Judi Hill.

On June 8, at 11:40 and 17:22, our forces targeted the Turkish occupation army who were trying to advance in the resistance square on FM Hill with specific tactics.

* On June 9 at 12:30, our forces were able to neutralize a dog that the enemy army tried to send to the war tunnels in the Resistance Square in FM Hill. They also seized a flashlight and a surveillance camera belonging to the Turkish occupation army.

At 17:20, our forces targeted the enemy army who were trying to position themselves in the resistance square on FM Hill with sniping tactics, and after the operation, the enemy’s movements were stopped.

At 22:20, our forces destroyed the Turkish occupation army's surveillance camera system in the Resistance Square in FM Hill with sniper tactics.

At 15:10, our forces targeted enemy soldiers in the resistance square on Amdeyia Hill with heavy weapons.

Turkish occupation attacks with banned explosives:

* On June 8, the Turkish occupation army once bombed the war tunnels in the FM Hill Resistance Square in the Martyr Dalil area, west of Zap, with banned explosives.

* On June 9, the Turkish occupation army once bombed the war tunnels in the Resistance Square in Judi Hill with banned explosives.

Turkish occupation army attacks:

* On June 8 and 9, Turkish warplanes twice bombed the Lulan and Kulet squares in the Khakurk region, three times the resistance squares in Beyşil, Silas and Baz in the Metina region, and twice the resistance square in Bahar Hill in the Martyr Dalil region, west of Zap.
