People of NE Syria affirmed that just as Kobani was liberated thanks to the sacrifices of the martyrs and the resistance of the people of NE Syria, they will liberate, in the same spirit of resistance and struggle the areas occupied by Turkey and its mercenaries.

On the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Kobani Resistance, a series of events were held today in different regions of NE Syria.

In this context, the Kongra Star Council issued a statement that said at the beginning: “We bow in reverence and honor before the greatness of our righteous martyrs.

The Kobani resistance was a historical slap to ISIS mercenaries and its supporters, led by the Turkish occupation.

In parallel with the importance of liberating Kobani from ISIS mercenaries, the Turkish-occupied regions must be liberated, especially Afrin, Serêkaniyê, and Tal Abyad, as this is considered the beginning of the actual collapse of “terrorism” in Syria.

For its part, the General Council of Sheikh Maqsoud and Achrafieh neighborhoods recalled all the martyrs of the Freedom Revolution, especially the martyrs of the Kobani resistance, and saluted their greatness.

Tthe Co-chair of the Training and Education Committee in a Democratic Society, Manan Jaafar said that “the resistance of the heroes of the People’s Protection Units, the Women’s Protection Units, our people in northern Kurdistan, and the national revolutionaries, many of whom were martyred, recorded an unparalleled epic in the twenty-first century.”

She pointed out that the godfather of ISIS (the Turkish occupation) followed retaliatory methods as a result of its defeat in Kobani, where it began occupying Afrin, Girê Spi, and Serêkaniyê, forcibly displacing the Kurdish people, and attacking NE Syria with the complicity of some parties claiming Kurdish identity.

Qamishlo

In this context, the Qamishlo City Council delivered a statement to public opinion, in the presence of male and female council members, and it was read in front of the council building located in the Al-Bashiriyah neighborhood in Qamishlo by the co-chair of the council, Houri Shamdeen.

The Council noted that Kobani has become "a heroic legacy for our people. It has also become a humanitarian legacy for the entire world through the heroism demonstrated by the People's Protection Units and the Women's Protection Units, which defeated ISIS mercenaries and the fascist Turkish state."

Amuda

The Amuda District Council also recalled the heroism of the Kobani resistance through a statement attended by dozens of people of the district, and it was read in front of the council building by the Co-chair of the district council, Newroz Ali.

She pointed out that the Kobani resistance has become the source of all the victories achieved in the regions of NE Syria.

Çil Agha

While the Çil Agha Council noted, during a statement in the presence of male and female members of civil institutions, councils, and Kongra Star, and which was read in front of the building of the Martyrs’ Families Council in the district, by the Deputy Joint Presidency of the council, Muhammad Al-Faris, that the importance of the Kobani resistance came from its being The foundation stone for liberating all peoples and defending the dignity of humanity, considering it the basis for implementing the project of the democratic nation and the brotherhood of peoples by Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

He stressed by saying: "We live in safety and security thanks to the sacrifices of the male and female fighters who valiantly defended humanity in the Battle of Kobani to prove to the world their determination to achieve victory over terrorism."

Girkê Legê

While the Girkê Legê Council thanked the support of all peoples, internationalists, Kurdistanis, and all the Syrian people, along with Kobani, during a statement the council made today in front of its center, which was read by the administrator of the Girkê Legê Schools Committee, Saleh Hamo.

He added “We affirm that preserving these gains lies in the continuation of these global positions in support of our people’s revolution against terrorism.”

Derik

In turn, the Derik City Council made a statement that was read in front of its building in the city by the district council member, Eileen Issa Georges.

The Council called for the free peoples to continue supporting the struggle of the peoples of NE Syria against the occupation and the attacks of the Turkish occupation army, pledging to escalate the struggle, and not to abandon the approach of resistance and the struggle to creat a free moral society.

Tel Hamis

Dozens of members of civil institutions and councils gathered in front of the district council to make a statement, which was read by the administrator at the Democratic Society Academy in Tel Hamis, Youssef Al-Mahous.

The statement noted, "The Day of Solidarity with Kobani is a turning point not only for Kobani, but for the entire Middle East and an important turning point towards the necessity of peoples supporting each other in order to live freely."

Tirbespiyê

Dozens of members of civil institutions and families of martyrs gathered in front of the Tirbespiyê council and there a statement was delivered by the deputy co-presidency of Tirbespiyê council, Nalin Tammo.

The statement affirmed that the victory achieved by the components of NE Syria in Kobani is a victory for all humanity. It also called on the people of the region to adhere to the spirit of Kobani’s resistance and take lessons from it. “

Tal Kochar

Tal Kochar's council also issued a statement, which was read in the presence of council members by council member Saleh al-Kanno.

The statement considered this date a historic blow to ISIS mercenaries and Turkey, and an attractive point for peoples to come together.

It stressed that one of the priorities of the people in NE Syria at the current stage is to liberate the areas occupied by Turkey.

Tabqa

The Democratic Civil Administration in Tabqa recalled the occasion through a statement, read by the co-chair of the Executive Council, Mazloum Omar.

The statement stressed that the first of November is the day of resistance to the most powerful mercenaries known to humanity, and that it is the day of the great victory for the entire world and not for a specific region.

The statement noted that the resistance of the People's Protection Units and the Women's Protection Units turned the principle of resistance and belief in the cause into a practical theory for achieving the victory.
