Under the slogan "Syria Unites Us: Between Reality and Aspiration," the Arab Tay Tribe Council organized a dialogue forum at Afrin Hall in Qamishli yesterday. The event brought together Kurdish and Arab tribal leaders, dignitaries, and intellectuals.

Speaking to ANHA agency, Kurdish and Arab dignitaries expressed their views on the matter, asserting that the "National Dialogue Conference" in Damascus failed to meet the aspirations of the Syrian people.

Sheikh Samer al-Tay, representing the Arab Tay tribe, stressed the necessity of a national dialogue that includes all components of Syrian society.

He stated, "The conference in Damascus ignored Kurdish, Assyrian, and Syriac communities. Ultimately, we are all Syrians, and we reject such an exclusionary approach."

Sheikh Samer al-Tay further remarked, "Kurdish and Arab communities have coexisted for years. Attempts to sow discord between us have repeatedly failed and will continue to fail. We call for a dialogue that includes all religious and ethnic groups in Syria."

Meanwhile, Abdul Qadir Ati, the member of the Kurdish Tribal Council, argued that the Damascus conference does not represent the Syrian people. He stated, "We do not consider the gathering in Damascus to be a genuine dialogue in any sense. It was convened under the influence of the Turkish occupying state, and we do not even know who participated in it."

Abdul Qadir Ati underscored the need for dialogues that guarantee the rights of all Syrian communities.
