The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that dozens of locals gathered in a nighttime protest in the occupied city of al-Atarib, west of Aleppo, against the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries.

The protesters chanted slogans opposing Turkey and its mercenaries, who occupy the region, rejecting the Turkish occupation state's policy of rapprochement with the Damascus government and the opening of crossings between the occupied areas and those under the control of the Damascus government forces.

The occupied areas of Syria are witnessing widespread public discontent, with daily protests against the policies of the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries, particularly in Idlib, Azaz, and al-Bab.

These areas are also plagued by insecurity, chaos, and crimes committed by Turkish occupation soldiers and mercenaries against civilians, along with infighting between mercenaries over smuggling and looting citizens' properties.

Protesters are often attacked by Turkish mercenaries and intelligence forces to disperse the demonstrations and abduct participants.
