New group of militants joins HRE

A group of youth joined the Afrin Liberation Forces (HRE), and confirmed that they would confront the genocidal attacks launched by the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries.

A group of Arab and Kurdish youth announced their joining the Afrin Liberation Forces today, during a statement.

The statement confirmed that the Turkish occupation state is tightening the isolation on leader Abdullah Ocalan, and is also committing heinous crimes against the people in the occupied areas of Afrin, Serêkaniyê and Girê Spi.

The statement stressed, "We will respond to the isolation imposed on Leader Abdullah Ocalan, and confront the genocidal attacks launched by the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries, and we will avenge the martyrs of the Basala village operation, Judi Rasho, Cicek Kobani, Judi Kabar, Jian Afrin, and Dilşer Serêkaniyê."

After the statement, the youth chanted, “Long live leader Apo,” “Long live the people’s resistance,” and “Revenge is our promise.”

On January 30, HRE carried out qualitative operations against the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries in the village of Basala, resulting in the killing of 20 Turkish soldiers and mercenaries.
