As part of the coordination process between the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, the Security Committee, and the Migration and Displacement Committee of the Iraqi Parliament, 148 Iraqi families, comprising 578 individuals, departed from Al-Hol Camp on the Syrian-Iraqi border today, Saturday.

The families left the camp at 14:00 and were escorted by the Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria and the International Coalition towards Iraqi territory.

This marks the second trip of its kind for Iraqi families being repatriated to Iraq this year, as part of ongoing coordination efforts among the relevant authorities to facilitate the voluntary return of Iraqi citizens residing in the camp.

The first group, consisting of 193 Iraqi families with a total of 715 individuals, was transferred from Al-Hol Camp to Iraq on January 8.
