Today, a new convoy of residents from the cities of Derik, Kerkuk, and Çil Agha in the Jazira canton set out to the Tishreen Dam to participate in an organized protest against the attacks by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries. To the sound of revolutionary chants, the convoy of vehicles set off toward the Tishreen Dam to participate in the protest.

A popular protest organized by residents of North and East Syria at the Tishreen Dam has been ongoing since January 8, denouncing the Turkish occupation's attacks on the region, particularly the Tishreen Dam and the Qarqozaq Bridge.
