NE Syria people stand with Gêrîla forces in face of Turkish attacks

Since April 16, the Turkish occupation army has launched a large-scale attack via warplanes and helicopters, and from the ground with artillery and mortar shells, specifically on the Matina area in the mediya defense areas in southern Kurdistan.

In this regard, ANHA agency in the city of Aleppo, Amuda and Qamishlo monitored the opinions of the people who went out to the squares denouncing the attacks, who affirmed their full solidarity with the People Defense Forces and at the same time denounced the duplicity of the international community’s dealings with the occupation attacks.

Citizen Zulekha Abdo said: “Today we went out to the squares to express our complete solidarity with the People Defense Forces. This participation in peaceful activities would make our voices heard in international forums and alert world public opinion to the danger of the occupation attacks led by Turkey.”

Citizen Salah Sino, who also participated in the condemnation march organized in Sheikh Maqsoud in Aleppo, said: “The attacks targeting the Matina Mountains aim to exterminate the Kurdish people by attacking the Kurdistan Freedom Resistance Movement. The fascists in the Justice and Development Party only know the language of weapons.”

In the Amuda district of Jazera Canton, citizen Abd al-Baqi Ali said: “The attacks of the Turkish occupation on the defense areas are not new today and are increasing day by day, but what angers us is that they are being carried out with the help of the Kurds who are following the line of treason,  Barzani family must’t helping the occupier attack against his own people, this is a historical betrayal, and grandchildren will curse them for this betrayal.”

At the same march, Media Saado said: “The attacks of the Turkish occupation on the Gêrîla and the strict isolation imposed on the leader are linked to each other and their goal is to end the Kurds. It is impossible for the occupier to achieve its goal, because we are steadfast and will resist until the last breath, and we will not abandon our forces.”

Citizen Filzur Çolî believes that the Turkish occupation attacks will not be able to break the will of Kurdistan society, and he said: “The Turkish occupier’s interventions in the region’s internal affairs and fueling conflicts, explains occupation ambitions and the ruling fascist mentality, and his genocidal policy against the peoples of the region, are the best evidence of that, but he will not be able to achieve his goals as long as our resistance continues.”

Filzur Çolî criticized the Kurdistan Democratic Party's participation in the Turkish occupation state's attacks on the mediya defense areas.

Citizen Manja Hayda, participating in the support march in the city of Qamishlo, pointed out what the People’s Defense Forces mean to the peoples of Kurdistan, and stressed the continuation of the struggle and resistance, in addition to resisting of defense areas in the face of the Turkish occupation state.
