Municipalities of Tal Tamr and Al-Darbasiyah stand in solidarity with municipalities of N Kurdistan
The municipalities of Tal Tamr and Al-Darbasiyah denounced the policies and practices of the authorities of the Turkish occupation state in N Kurdistan.
Reactions are escalating by the municipalities of the NE Syria region against the policies and practices of the authorities of the Turkish occupation state in N Kurdistan, with the dismissal of the mayors of Merdin, Eleh, and Khalifati, and the appointment of guardians in their place.
Al-Darbasiyah
The People's Municipality in the city of Ad-Darbasiyah in Jazera Canton condemned these policies and practices through a statement, read by the Deputy Co-chair of the People's Municipality in the city, Alan Maish, in front of the municipality building.
The statement said: “The Turkish fascist state continues its campaigns of political genocide against municipalities elected by the will of the people in N Kurdistan, and day after day it proves that it is hostile to all human values and the people of the region.”
And stressed: "We support the will of the people in N Kurdistan and Turkey, bless their resistance, and declare our solidarity with them."
Tal Tamr
For its part, the People's Municipality in Tal Tamr of Jazera Canton, issued a statement, read by the co-chair of the municipality, Muhammad Baqi Kutti, in front of the People's Municipality in Tal Tamr, in which it denounced the campaigns of political genocide practiced by Turkish fascism led by Erdogan and his party in N Kurdistan, which are far from moral and humanity.
It expressed its full solidarity with the will of the people in N Kurdistan and Turkey, in response to the authorities of the Turkish occupation state imposing its guardianship over municipalities of Merdin, Elah, and Khalifati, and appointing guardians over them in an attempt to break the will of the people and their struggle.
It affirmed its support for the will of the Kurdish people in N Kurdistan, its democratic policy through its representatives, and its solidarity and full support for the resistance of the people of N Kurdistan in the face of the policy of genocide pursued by the fascist state authorities against the free people.
