Military operations teams (TOL) capture ISIS cell's leader

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Media Center issued a public statement on Tuesday announcing the arrest of a leader of ISIS mercenary cells.

The statement included,

"Our Syrian Democratic Forces' Military Operations Teams (TOL), with support from the International Coalition, carried out a precise and comprehensive security operation on Tuesday in Tabqa city, which aimed at the arrest of a dangerous leader of ISIS terrorist cells.

The operation was carried out after our forces monitored the movements and activities of the terrorist Ahmed Abdel Qader al-Moussa, who hails from the city of Tabqa, raided his hideout, and arrested him.

The terrorist Ahmed was a leader who used to supervise the receipt and delivery of weapons and military equipment and their distribution to terrorist cells, in addition to monitoring our forces' military checkpoints.

Our forces seized a quantity of weapons and hand grenades from the captured terrorist.

Our forces affirm the continuation of their security operations against the remnants of the terrorist organization's cells in order to preserve the security and safety of the residents and the stability of their areas."
