The Turkish occupation mercenaries released 20-year-old Abd al-Muttalib Miro, who had been kidnapped alongside his 23-year-old brother, Avan Miro, on October 16 while traveling from Dêrik in al-Jazira canton to Damascus to complete enrollment procedures at a university.

The young man’s family confirmed that Abd al-Muttalib was freed after being held by the mercenaries for over a month and a half.

The brothers had been abducted approximately 70 kilometers from Raqqa while traveling on a "Pullman" bus. Contact was lost with them after reaching a checkpoint known as “Ma’dan,” controlled by al-Amshat mercenaries.

Avan Miro was released a few hours after the kidnapping, and it was initially reported that Abd al-Muttalib would be freed within two days. However, he remained in captivity for more than a month and a half until his release today.
