Meeting in Hasakah discusses integration of Agricultural Cooperative Bank, activation of 4 branches to serve farmers

Hasakah Governor discussed the integration of the Agricultural Cooperative Bank sector and plans to activate four branches to improve services for farmers during a meeting with the Director-General of the Agricultural Cooperative Bank of Syria, the Director-General of the Syrian Grain Establishment, and several officials involved in the agricultural sector.

As part of efforts to oversee the integration of the Agricultural Cooperative Bank sector and strengthen services for farmers, Hasakah Governor Nour al-Din Ahmed met on Monday with Ahmed al-Zuhairi, Director-General of the Agricultural Cooperative Bank of Syria, the Director-General of the Syrian Grain Establishment, and several officials involved in the agricultural sector.

The meeting focused on the steps required to integrate the Agricultural Cooperative Bank sector in a way that ensures the continuity of operations and improves the delivery of financial services to farmers.

Participants also agreed to activate four branches of the Agricultural Cooperative Bank in Hasakah, Qamishlo, Derik, and Amuda. The move is intended to facilitate wheat payment processing for farmers and accelerate procedures for disbursing their dues, with the aim of supporting the agricultural sector and meeting the needs of producers.
