Derik city witnessed a massive meeting that discussed the latest political developments and the integration process, during which the participants emphasized the importance of reinforcing unity and popular struggle as a fundamental pillar for protecting gains and consolidating rights in the next stage.

The Democratic Union Party (PYD) in Derik city held a meeting on Wednesday at the Revolutionary Youth Center to discuss the current situation in the region and the integration process, with the participation of hundreds of residents.

The meeting began with holding a minute of silence, followed by a speech delivered by Fatima Mohamed; the administrator at the Kongra Star, in which she stated that the current stage requires a conscious popular struggle to achieve the rights of the Kurdish people within the framework of the Syrian constitution.

She added that the Kurdish people adhere to an ideology based on the principles of justice, solidarity, democracy, and co-existence, and strive to enshrine these principles in the Syrian constitution.

Fatima Mohamed emphasized that Kurdish unity has contributed to preserving the legacy of the martyrs during the Rojava Revolution and has become a force against the schemes targeting the people's gains.

She affirmed that the current stage requires strengthening the community and intensifying efforts and the struggle to achieve justice for the Kurdish people within the Syrian constitution.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants agreed that the strength, unity, and solidarity of the people represent the fundamental path to achieving victory and protecting the martyrs' gains.
