Meeting between DAA, official in charge of Syrian file at German Foreign Ministry

The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria discussed with the official in charge of the Syrian file at the German Foreign Ministry, along with his team specialized in Syrian affairs and counter-terrorism, the latest developments and dialogue in Syria, and ways to enhance stability, as part of diplomatic efforts for a comprehensive political solution in the country.

On Tuesday, Badran Jia Kurd, the advisor of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, met with Stefan Schnick, the official in charge of the Syrian file at the German Foreign Ministry, along with his team specialized in Syrian affairs and counter-terrorism, at the German Foreign Ministry building.

The meeting addressed the latest developments on the Syrian front, ways to support dialogue with the Damascus authority, as well as discussing mechanisms to enhance partnership in combating "terrorism" and providing humanitarian aid to ensure the region's stability.

The two parties also discussed ways to achieve the safe return of all Syrians to their original areas, as well as supporting the transitional political phase based on an inclusive Syrian national partnership.
