Mass rally in Kobani demanding the physical freedom of Abdullah Ocalan 

Hundreds of residents of Kobani took to the streets today in a mass rally demanding the release of Abdullah Ocalan.

The march began in Free Woman Square in the city center, with participants carrying pictures of the leader and banners that read: "Our leader is our strength," "With unity and struggle, we will achieve victory," and "With unity and communal spirit, we will guarantee the release of Abdullah Ocalan."

The march proceeded along the city's main street, with participants chanting slogans affirming their commitment to the protesters' demands and calling for Ocalan’s release.

Upon reaching a side street, the march transformed into a rally where several speeches were delivered, following a minute of silence in remembrance of the martyrs.

Mohammed Mohammed, a member of the Revolutionary Youth Movement in Kobani, stated that achieving peace requires practical and serious steps, and that any path to a solution must guarantee the direct participation of Abdullah Ocalan in the ongoing process.

For her part, Nadia Hasso, a member of the Kongra Star Coordination Committee in the Shiran district, affirmed the continuation of activities and protests demanding the physical freedom of the leader.

She indicated that, in her view, the project of a democratic society and peace will not achieve its goals except through fulfilling this demand.

The march concluded with chants affirming the continuation of the struggle until the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan is achieved.
