Mass rally in Hasaka for leader Ocalan’s Release

This evening, residents of Hasaka took to the streets in a rally that included members and administrators from institutions of the Autonomous Administration, the Women’s Movement, and the Youth Movement, along with large crowds of local citizens.

The rally started at Marsho Roundabout and proceeded to Freedom Roundabout in the city center. Participants carried photos of Leader Abdullah Ocalan and chanted slogans such as: “Long live Leader Ocalan” and “No life without the Leader.”

Upon reaching Freedom Roundabout, the rally turned into a public gathering during which Maha Suleiman, the representative of Kongra Star in Hasaka, delivered a speech. She stated that the greetings of Hasaka residents today will reach Leader Ocalan in Imrali, saying:
“With the strength of women and mothers, the struggle will continue until the physical freedom of Leader Öcalan is achieved.”

Maha Suleiman also referenced the historic call made by Leader Abdullah Öcalan on February 27, 2025, describing it as a call for global peace. She concluded her speech by emphasizing:
“The policies of isolation and deprivation must end. Our struggle against isolation will continue until the very end.”
