All segments and sects of society in Manbij canton participate in signing the petition demanding the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan. Their participation is not limited to signing, but the participants took it upon themselves to spread the idea of the campaign and help collect signatures.

In this regard, the co-chair of the Modernity and Democracy Party, Bissan Fadil, said during the campaign committees’ tour in the streets of the city: “Today we joined the campaign to collect signatures on the petition demanding the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan in Manbij canton since its launch, and in our role as members of the Modernity and Democracy Party, the least we can do is It is a signature for the physical freedom of the leader, and under the shadow of the democratic nation, we will participate in all events and marches demanding his freedom.”

For his part, the co-chair of the organization office in the Democratic Union Party, Mahmoud Jammo, explained that “the popular base in our regions was the basis for escalating the campaigns demanding the physical freedom of the leader, and that the people’s belief in the leader’s thought made them struggle and demand their physical freedom, whether through events or marches.”

He added: "The widespread participation of the people of the entire North and East Syria in the campaign to collect signatures on the petition demanding the physical freedom of the leader, indicates the extent of the people of the region's insistence on achieving the leader's freedom, and also indicates the extent to which they were influenced by his thought and philosophy."

In her turn, Reem Darwish, Director of the Organization Office of the Democratic Union Party, said: “We had a large and widespread participation in the campaign to collect signatures to demand the physical freedom of the leader, as political parties, especially the Democratic Union Party, and we all call for the physical freedom of the leader Abdullah Ocalan.”

She added: "The thought and philosophy of the leader are among our basic principles, which include the thought of brotherhood of peoples and coexistence. We want to convey the message that the physical freedom of the leader is one of our most important priorities. Therefore, we explain the reasons for launching the campaign and its goals, and this is what made there a great demand from the people to participate in the campaign."

She stressed, "We will not stop there. Rather, we will escalate our demands, campaigns, and participation in events in pursuit of the leader's physical freedom, and we are all in sacrifice for this lofty goal."

In this context, the head of the Future Syria Party, Idlib Council, Ahmed Shaaban, said: “We, as political parties, have played our role in the campaign to collect signatures, and we are continuing this campaign until our voice reaches the whole world to achieve the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan.”

At the conclusion of his speech, Shaaban stressed that the spread of the leader’s thought and philosophy led to widespread participation of the people in this campaign and their belief that this thought would liberate them from slavery, which prompted them to rise up and participate in campaigns to achieve the leader’s physical freedom.
