Leader Ocalan reaffirms support for peace process
Leader Abdullah Ocalan has reiterated his enduring commitment to the peace process and the advancement of a democratic society during a recent meeting with the Imrali delegation, which described the encounter as "highly productive."
The delegation, returning from its meeting with Mr. Ocalan, included MP for the Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party, Ms. Pervin Buldan, and attorney Mr. Faik Özgür Erol from the Asr Law Office. The delegation disclosed the details of the meeting at a press conference held in Istanbul.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, MP Pervin Buldan stated: "Early this morning, we traveled to Imrali Island to meet with Mr. Abdullah Ocalan, accompanied by his legal representative, Mr. Faik Özgür Erol. We returned, following a two-and-a-half-hour meeting, ."
Buldan emphasized the constructive nature of the dialogue, noting:
"Mr. Ocalan reaffirmed his determination to preserve hope and to continue his efforts within the framework of the peace process and democratic society."
She further noted that a central point of the discussion concerned the health condition of Comrade Sırrı Süreyya Önder.
