Leader Ocalan: I salute our People's stand for peace, democracy

 In his message, the leader stated: "I salute our people’s enthusiastic embrace of the call for peace and a democratic society on the occasion of Newroz. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to our people on Newroz and Eid al-Fitr."

Visit to Imrali on the Occasion of Eid al-Fitr

On the morning of March 31, 2025, a delegation consisting of Abdullah Ocalan’s brother, Mehmet Ocalan; his nephew, Omer Ocalan; as well as the relatives of other imprisoned individuals, including Hamili Yıldırım, Veysi Aktaş, and Omer Khayri Konar, traveled to İmralı to visit them on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

The visit lasted for two hours, during which Omer Ocalan, a Member of Parliament from the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) and Abdullah Ocalan’s nephew, shared the leader’s message via his official account on the X platform.

Omer Ocalan wrote:"Today, as the families of Mr. Abdullah Ocalan, Hamili Yıldırım, Veysi Aktaş, and Omer Khayri, we visited Imrali Prison and met with them on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

During this period of significant developments in Turkey and the Middle East, Mr. Abdullah Ocalan conveyed a message to the public:

'I salute our people’s enthusiastic embrace of the call for peace and a democratic society during Newroz, and I once again extend my greetings to our people on the occasions of Newroz and Eid al-Fitr.'”
