Today, lawyers from the Al-Asr Human Rights Office, Suzan Akipa, Ibrahim Bilmez, Imran Amacçi, and Cengiz Yoruklu, submitted a new request to the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office in the Turkish city of Bursa and the Directorate of Imrali Prison to meet with their clients: Leader Abdullah Ocalan, Omar Khairi Kunar Hayri, Hamili Yildirim, and Veysi Aktaş, who have been subjected to a system of torture and annihilation by Turkey for more than three years.

The lawyers submit two requests each week to the Prosecutor's Office in Bursa and the Imrali Prison Directorate to meet with their clients, yet receive no response to their applications.

The system of torture and annihilation continues in Imrali, and Leader Abdullah Ocalan is still being denied even his basic rights as a detainee.
