The lawyers of Leader Abdullah Ocalan and the other Imrali detainees have submitted a new request to the Turkish authorities to meet with their clients.

Today, lawyers from the Al-Asr Human Rights Office, Suzan Akiba, Ibrahim Bilmez, Imran Amkci, and Cengiz Yurkli. submitted a new request to the Public Prosecutor's Office in the Turkish city of Bursa and the administration of Imrali Prison to meet with their clients: Leader Abdullah Ocalan, Omar Khairi Kunar, Hamili Yildirim, and Veysi Aktaş, who have been subjected to a system of torture and annihilation imposed by Turkey for more than three years.

The lawyers submit two requests each week to the Public Prosecutor's Office in Bursa and the administration of Imrali Prison to meet with them, but they have received no response to their requests.

The system of torture and annihilation in İmralı remains ongoing, and Leader Abdullah Ocalan continues to be denied his rights even as a prisoner.
