Today, the lawyers from the Al-Asr Human Rights Office, Suzan Akiba, Ibrahim Bilmez, Umran Emekçi, and Cengiz Yurekli, submitted a new request to the Office of the Chief Public Prosecutor in Bursa, Turkey, and the Imrali Prison Directorate to meet with their clients: Leader Abdullah Ocalan, Omar Khairi Kunar, Hamili Yildirim, and Veysi Aktaş, who have been subjected to a system of torture and extermination by Turkey for more than three years.

The lawyers of the Al-Asr Human Rights Office submit two requests each week to the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office in Bursa and the Imrali Prison Directorate to meet with their clients, yet they receive no response to their requests.

The system of torture and extermination continues in Imrali, and Leader Abdullah Ocalan is denied his rights even as a detainee.
