Kobani people condemn Turkish authorities decision against detainees of “Kobani Case”

Hundreds demonstrated in the city of Kobani in the Euphrates canton, in protest against the rulings of the Turkish authorities against the detainees of the “Kobani case.”

The demonstrators started chanting the slogan "The detainees of the Kobani case are our dignity" from Free Women's Square, while raising pictures of the leader Abdullah Ocalan and political detainees and the slogan "Resistance is Life."

During which the co-chair of the Democratic Community Movement Council in the Euphrates Canton Anwar Muslim, delivered a speech in which he said: “The Justice and Development Alliance and the National Movement supported terrorism in the attack on Kobani, and many times they claimed that Kobani was defeated and fell, but Kobani resisted and won.”

In front of the Autonomous Administration building of the Euphrates Canton, the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Euphrates Canton, Farhan Haj Issa, read a statement. The statement stated that the Turkish state will not be able to break the will of the people who are walking on the path of freedom and resistance with these decisions.

He continued in the statement: “Against the terrorist attack on Kobani, our people in N. Kurdistan rose up. All our political parties rose up to support our people and began to take action, so all fighters and supporters of the resistance against terrorism became the target of the new Turkish and Ottoman state.”
