KJZ: Liberation of Baghouz represents new future for all world

On this day, March 23, 2019, the Syrian Democratic Forces announced the end of the geographical control of ISIS mercenaries, in their last enclave in the town of Baghouz in Deir ez-Zor.

The Zenobia Women’s Gathering said in a statement issued on the occasion of the anniversary of the liberation of Al-Baghouz:

 “ The Syrian Democratic Forces fulfilled their promise in defeating terrorism and expelling ISIS and its mercenaries. The beginning was from Kobani, Manbij, Tabqa, and Raqqa until it reached the Bride of the Euphrates, Deir ez-Zor, and the town of Al-Baghouz witnessed the end of ISIS."

The Zenobia Women’s Gathering stated that the Battle of Al-Baghouz was the final chapter in battles of victory over ISIS mercenaries geographically, and explained: there is no doubt that the elimination of ISIS in Al-Baghouz was a new birth in the lives of millions of people.”

The statement recalled the 5th anniversary of the liberation of Baghouz, following a historic resistance waged by the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Women’s Protection Units, with the cooperation and solidarity of all components of the people against Turkish-backed ISIS mercenaries.

The statement affirmed that “the will of people defeated ISIS in our regions and withstood the genocides in Afrin, Ras al-Ayn and Tal Abyad will continue to achieve victory and liberate all the occupied areas from Turkey and its mercenaries.

We congratulate our people on this great victory in our first step on the path of freedom and with the thought and philosophy of the leader of humanity, Abdullah Ocalan.
