KCK: KDP turned Kurdistan into war, occupation zone

The Foreign Relations Committee of the Kurdistan Communities (KCK) issued a statement regarding the Iranian Revolutionary Guard’s attacks against the city of Hewler in Southern Kurdistan.

The text of the statement said:

“The Iranian Revolutionary Guard attacked Hewler with missiles on the night of January 15, and citizens lost their lives in these attacks. We condemn this attack on Hewler and offer our condolences to the relatives of those who lost their lives. The Kurdistan Democratic Party, through its policy, has turned Kurdistan into a war and occupation zone, and this Politics is the subject of criticism. The attacks on the Kurdish people in their places of residence as a result of these wrong policies are neither legitimate nor correct. The Iranian government must conduct creative dialogues with the Kurds, stop attacks on Kurdistan, and give no room to attempts to justify the Turkish occupation.

The Kurdistan Freedom Guerilla forces have raised the heroic streak to the highest level and resisted these attacks. This resistance upsets the balance of fascism and makes it more aggressive. It is clear that in the face of genocidal attacks, there is no other way but to insist on free life and resistance, and the Kurdistan Guerilla are building themselves on this. The basic element of humanity, and they are cleaning up and breaking the occupation of the Turkish state, point by point. This level of resistance, which raises the morale of the people of Kurdistan, makes the Turkish state and the Kurdistan Democratic Party feel uncomfortable. The fascist Turkish army, stationed in the mountains of Kurdistan, has arrived despite unlimited aid to the Kurdistan Democratic Party. The Kurdistan Region has put him in a situation where he does not know what to do about the blows it is receiving from the Guerrilla.

For a long time, our movement has been speaking out and criticizing the KDP's corrupt policy of collusion and its threats to Kurdistan. The KDP has ignored these criticisms and warnings and become more angry towards the Kurdish freedom movement. In order to hide the betrayal of collusion, it has provided more assistance to the Turkish army to enter the mountains of Kurdistan and make it closer to the guerrilla sites, the Kurdistan Workers' Party's guerrilla forces have reached the most efficient and effective level in the history of militancy and defense in Kurdistan, and the guerrilla is now directing strong blows at the collusion between the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Turkish state. The Kurdistan Freedom Movement has tightened the noose around the occupation policies pursued by AKP and the National Movement Party in the mountains of Kurdistan and calls on them to surrender.

The fascist Turkish Republic is waging a war against our people and Kurdistan using all types of weapons, most notably its direct targeting of living and social areas in north-eastern Syria (Rojava), and in Southern Kurdistan, it is trying to evacuate residential areas by bombing. It wants to change the demographic composition of Kurdistan through... It was targeted directly through attacks with explosive drones. In this regard, neither the International Front nor the Hewler administration expressed any serious objection. In fact, the Kurdistan Democratic Party is doing everything to support the Turkish occupation state in Southern Kurdistan and evacuate the villages.

We call on the entire democratic revolutionary public opinion, especially our people, to stand up and confront all kinds of attacks against the Kurds’ national gains and cooperative policies that create a basis for the genocide of the Kurds.
