Explosions were heard in the countryside of the city of Qusayr in the Homs countryside, resulting from new Israeli raids that targeted the “Al-Jawsiyah” crossing between Syria and Lebanon, in addition to cars.

According to the residents, the bombing targeted cars near the village of Al-Nazariya in the Qusayr countryside on the border with Lebanon, and also targeted the “Al-Jawsiyah” crossing, leading to the death of two people inside one of the targeted cars.

The new raid on the crossing is the third of its kind in less than 72 hours. It was preceded by a raid on Friday, October 25, during which Israeli warplanes launched an air strike targeting a “Military Intelligence” point near the Immigration and Passports building at the Al-Jawsiya crossing, which led to the killing of 3 members, according to what the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported.

Since the beginning of 2024, Israel has targeted Syrian territory 130 times, including 106 air strikes and 24 ground strikes.
