Israeli incursion accompanied by house searches in Quneitra countryside

An Israeli force entered the village of Al-Asha in the southern countryside of Quneitra Governorate, where it carried out house-to-house searches before withdrawing from the area. The operation came a day after a similar incursion into the village of Sayda al-Golan.

Local sources in Quneitra Governorate reported that an Israeli force entered the village of Al-Asha in the southern Quneitra countryside at dawn on Friday.

According to the sources, the force, consisting of more than 15 military vehicles, remained in the village for a brief period, during which it searched a house and a livestock feed warehouse before withdrawing from the area. No reports of arrests have been received.

The incident came a day after an Israeli force carried out a similar incursion into the village of Sayda al-Golan in the southern Quneitra countryside, where it set up a temporary checkpoint at the entrance to the village before later withdrawing.
