Following the Israeli airborne operation conducted yesterday in the Damascus countryside, an Israeli official described it as “crucial for Israel’s security.”

The official, speaking to Al Arabiya Network today, stated that Israeli forces recovered secret and sensitive equipment.

He added, “We tracked those who transported the devices, located their hiding spots, and retrieved them.”

Furthermore, the official noted that Israeli forces dismantled recently planted Turkish spy devices in the area aimed at surveilling Israel. He confirmed, “We warned the administration of Ahmad Al-Shara’ against playing with fire and heeding Turkey’s orders.”

He further stated that “Turkey is attempting to approach Israel more than it should,” concluding by emphasizing that Tel Aviv has informed the Damascus government “not to test its patience or challenge the limits of its operations.”

Yesterday, Mount Al-Mana’a, south of Damascus, was subjected to an Israeli aerial attack and airborne operation, resulting in the death of several soldiers, injuries, and the destruction of military vehicles.
