ISIS attack kills 7 Syrian soldiers
ISIS mercenaries continue their attacks against Damascus forces, as the death toll during attacks within the Syrian desert has reached 594 people since the beginning of 2023.
Today, ISIS mercenaries launched a violent attack on the positions of the Damascus forces east of the "Second Station" in the Al-Bukamal countryside in the Deir ez-Zor countryside, which led to the killing of 7 Damascus forces in an initial toll.
The death toll during attacks within the Syrian desert, according to the Syrian Observatory, has reached 594 dead since the beginning of the year 2023. They are: 44 ISIS mercenaries who were killed in clashes with Damascus forces and Russian air strikes that targeted areas where they hide in various areas of the Homs desert, Suwayda, Hama, Raqqa, Deir ez-Zor, and Aleppo.
385 members of the Damascus forces and the armed groups loyal to them were killed in 156 operations by ISIS mercenaries in various areas of the desert, carried out through ambushes, armed attacks and bombings in the west of the Euphrates and the desert of Deir ez-Zor, Raqqa, Homs, Suwayda, Hama and Aleppo, and 165 citizens were killed in mercenary attacks in the desert.
