International Coalition airstrikes target former leader of "Huras Al-Din" organization

Drones belonging to the International Coalition carried out a series of airstrikes targeting sites and vehicles in the Idlib and Aleppo countryside, amid reports that one of the former leaders of the organization known as "Huras Al-Din" was targeted.

Local sources reported that coalition aircraft launched several airstrikes late Friday night in the Idlib and Aleppo countryside. The strikes targeted three vehicles in the Jabal Sheikh Barakat area near the city of Darat Izza in western Aleppo, as well as a person riding a motorcycle on the road between the village of Mashhad Rouhin and the town of Deir Hassan in northern Idlib.

According to initial reports, the strike targeted Sami al-Aridi, a former leader in the Hurras al-Din organization, along with several of his companions.

The sources indicated that the identities of those targeted remain unconfirmed, and the number of casualties is still unclear. There are conflicting reports about the strike targeting a headquarters belonging to the 82nd Division of the Syrian Interim Government's Ministry of Defense.

Northwestern Syria has been experiencing periodic airstrikes by the international coalition targeting individuals and leaders accused of having ties to organizations classified on international terrorism lists.
