Internal Security Forces release confessions of Ismail Fattah’s murderers

 The Internal Security Forces of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria have released a video recording featuring the confessions of individuals involved in the murder of Ismail Fattah, the member of the Kurdish National Council, whose body was found near the international highway south of Tirbespi on January 19, 2025.

 In an official statement, the Internal Security Forces confirmed that "the footage presents the confessions of the suspects, detailing the crime and its motives, as part of our commitment to transparency and informing the public of the facts." The statement further emphasized that "preliminary investigations have established the suspects’ involvement, and they will be referred to the judiciary to face justice in accordance with the applicable laws."

 The statement continued: "As part of our commitment to transparency and credibility with our people, we are publishing the full confessions of the perpetrators in the attached video. This aims to clarify the facts and shed light on the motives behind this heinous crime. We reaffirm our ongoing efforts to ensure citizens’ security and our unwavering pursuit of justice."
