Internal Security Forces in Raqqa, Tabqa impose partial curfew

 The Internal Security Forces of the Raqqa Canton Executive Council issued a circular imposing a partial curfew across the canton, effective today, January 13, 2026.

According to Circular No. 1, the curfew will be in effect daily from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM and will continue until further notice. The Authority stated that this measure is in accordance with the requirements of the public interest and its commitment to protecting the safety and security of the residents of Raqqa Canton.

The Internal Security Forces emphasized that anyone who violates the curfew will be subject to legal accountability, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

The Internal Security Forces called on all citizens to adhere to the directive and cooperate with the relevant authorities, emphasizing that the decision was made to maintain security and stability in the region.

In a related development, the Internal Security Forces in Tabqa province issued a directive imposing a partial curfew across the province, effective from January 13th until further notice, from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

The Internal Security Forces urged citizens to comply with this directive and cooperate with the relevant authorities for the sake of public safety.
