Internal Security Forces in Raqqa announce their readiness to ensure safety during Eid al-Adha

A commander in the Internal Security Forces in Raqqa confirmed that all security departments in the Canton are on high alert and ready to ensure security and stability during Eid al-Adha, while taking strict precautionary measures to preserve the safety of residents and secure vital areas.

To maintain security and stability during Eid al-Adha, the Internal Security Forces Command in the NE Syria has taken a series of highly precautionary measures to ensure a safe environment.

In this context, Ahmed al-Hazbar, a commander in the Internal Security Forces in Raqqa Canton, congratulated Syrians and the Muslim world via ANHA agency on the occasion of Eid al-Adha and emphasized the security forces' full readiness to ensure the holiday atmosphere.

He explained that "the Internal Security Forces in Raqqa Canton, with all its departments, checkpoints, and fixed points, have entered a state of high alert and maximum readiness to ensure security and stability in all vital areas during the Eid period."

Al-Hazbar added, "The measures taken include 24-hour security patrols, in addition to traffic members facilitating traffic on the streets to ensure smooth movement for citizens."

Yesterday, the General Command of the Internal Security Forces in North and East Syria issued a series of measures to ensure the security and stability of the region during Eid al-Adha. These measures include:

· A ban on trucks and tankers entering cities from June 5 to 6, with the exception of humanitarian and medical vehicles that have been previously authorized.

· Closing border crossings to commercial trucks from June 5 to 7, with the continued movement of civilian passengers.

· Prohibiting motorcycles, shooting, and large gatherings, especially at checkpoints and roadblocks.

· Enhancing cooperation with security forces and taking the highest levels of precaution to ensure a safe environment.
