Internal Security Forces – Aleppo: refute their presence in Hospital,claims are baseless, ongoing shelling

The Internal Security Forces in Aleppo confirmed that claims of a halt to attacks and the presence of their forces inside the Martyr Khaled Fajr Hospital are false. They emphasized that artillery shelling and drone attacks continue to this moment on the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood.

The Internal Security Forces in Aleppo issued a statement denying claims by the Ministry of Defense of the Syrian Interim Government regarding a cessation of attacks on the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood and the presence of their forces inside the Martyr Khaled Fajr Hospital.

The Internal Security Forces in Sheikh Maqsoud confirmed that these claims are baseless.

They clarified that artillery shelling and drone attacks are still ongoing, and that the hospital houses only civilians and wounded individuals, including women, children, and the elderly. There are no military presences within the hospital.

The Internal Security Forces called on independent human rights and humanitarian organizations to visit the hospital and conduct an on-site investigation.

At the same time, they warned that these allegations are intended to justify targeting the hospital and committing a crime against civilians.
