As part of efforts to strengthen security and curb robberies and criminal incidents that have occurred in the city in recent days, the Internal Security Forces have begun implementing a broad campaign covering the city's entrances and exits, main roads, and residential neighborhoods.

According to information obtained by ANHA agency from a source within the Internal Security Forces, the campaign will continue for a full month as part of ongoing efforts to establish security and address violations and offenses affecting the city's security situation.

The source explained that the campaign primarily targets motorcycles and is being carried out with the participation of traffic police officers and Special Security Forces (HAT). It will operate around the clock through a shift-based system among participating units to ensure continuity and achieve its objectives.

Hasakah has witnessed several security incidents recently, including the discovery on June 1 of the body of citizen Mahmoud Mohammed Younes near the junction of Al-Dhibah village, close to the town of Safiya in the Hasakah countryside, days after he disappeared under mysterious circumstances.
