In spirit of victory for Kobani resistance, people continue their protests at Tishreen Dam

The protesting residents continue their activity atthe Tishreen Dam for the 19th day in a row, with high morale and determination derived from the victory of Kobani, despite the attacks and the overflights of aircraft, demanding that the Turkish attacks on the dam be stopped and that it be protected from any threats that may affect its security and safety

Yesterday, Saturday, hundreds of people from the city of Kobani in the Euphrates Canton went to the Tishreen Dam to join the protest event to protect the dam from the attacks of the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries, and they stressed the need for all the people of the region to participate in protecting the dam.

Today, since the morning hours, the people have begun cleaning the body of the dam, and have stressed the continuation of their activities in the face of the attacks of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries on the dam

The protesting people explained that their resistance continues in the face of the attacks launched by the Turkish occupation, and they derive their morale from Kobani’s victory over ISIS mercenaries, which today marks its tenth anniversary.

The protesters stressed that no matter how severe the attacks become, they will not leave the dam, because it is a gain for all the Syrian people, and protecting it is a national duty for every citizen. They said: “We came here to prove to the Turkish occupation state that we are the owners of this land and will not leave it, no matter how intense the attacks become. We will defend the dam, and we will continue our struggle until Liberating Syrian lands from the Turkish occupation.

The protesting families continue their activities to protect the dam despite the attacks of the Turkish occupation, and their tasks are not limited only to protection, but go beyond it to actions that embody their persistence and resolve in facing challenges

With every new dawn, they disperse around the place to perform their duties, and continue to work in a spirit of cooperation and sacrifice, defying the circumstances in order to protect their facility.

The Tishreen Dam is subjected to violent attacks launched by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries, while the people of NE Syria continue the protest to protect the dam from collapse and stop the occupation attacks.
