Ilham Ahmed, Mazloum Abdi participate in MEPS-2025 Forum

The Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, and the Co-Chair of the Department of Foreign Relations of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Ilham Ahmed, are participating in the Middle East Peace and Security Forum (MEPS), held in Duhok, Southern Kurdistan.

The Middle East Peace and Security Forum (MEPS 2025) commenced this morning at the American University in Duhok, Southern Kurdistan, under the theme: "Managed Chaos: A New Middle East."

A large number of political figures, academics, researchers, and writers from North America, Europe, and the Middle East are participating in the forum to discuss security challenges and political transformations in the region, as part of a series of sessions and dialogues spanning the three days of the event.

According to sources, the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces and Ilham Ahmed, Co-Chair of the Department of Foreign Relations of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, are traveling today to Duhok to participate in the forum's second day tomorrow.

The Middle East Peace and Security Forum is an annual conference organized by the American University of Southern Kurdistan since its inception in 2019. This year marks the fifth edition, which will run for two days.
