HPG: Turkish occupation soldier killed and another injured

The HPG Media Center released a statement today regarding the guerrilla operations and the Turkish occupation army's attacks on the Medya defense areas, stating:

“Martyr Akhin Mush Unit:

On January 5 at 14:14: Our forces targeted a tent of occupation soldiers at a helicopter landing area in the Kulka resistance area, located in the Metina region, destroying the tent.

On January 7 at 15:00: Our forces destroyed a container belonging to occupation soldiers using aerial means in the Amadiya resistance area in the Martyr Delil region, west of Zap.

In the Martyr Delil Region, West of Zap:

On January 8 at 12:09: Our forces targeted occupation soldiers with heavy weapons in the Amadiya resistance area, injuring one soldier and disabling a DShK weapon.

On January 8 at 15:10: Our forces targeted occupation soldiers with heavy weapons in the Amadiya resistance area.

On January 9 at 14:10: Our forces sniped at occupation soldiers in the Bahar resistance area, killing one soldier.

In the Khakurk Region:

On January 7 at 15:00: Our forces targeted occupation soldiers with semi-automatic weapons in the Maskan resistance area, forcing the occupiers to partially withdraw after our intervention.

On January 9 at 12:05: The Free Women’s Units-Star targeted occupation soldiers with heavy weapons in the Maskan resistance area.

Turkish occupation army's attacks with prohibited weapons:

On January 6, 7, and 9: Our tunnels in the Shilaza resistance area in Metina were bombarded 13 times with prohibited weapons and three times with suicide drones.

On January 6 and 7: Our tunnels in the FM resistance area in the Martyr Delil region, west of Zap, were bombarded five times with prohibited weapons.

On January 8: Our tunnels in the Amadiya resistance area in the Martyr Delil region, west of Zap, were bombarded once with prohibited weapons.

Turkish occupation army attacks:

Between January 5 and 9, warplanes bombed the resistance areas of Barabzan, Martyr Hawar Hill, Martyr Zinar Hill, and Martyr Sharif in the Khakurk region six times. The areas of Dashta Kafaya, Gari, Derash Zivk, Haftbakh, and Migah in the Garê region were bombed 16 times. The resistance areas of Judi Hill, FM Hill, and Bahar Hill in the Martyr Delil region, west of Zap, were bombed five times. The resistance area of Serê Metina in the Metina region was bombed once. In total, warplanes carried out 28 aerial strikes.
