HPG: 2 Turkish occupation soldiers killed, injured
The People's Defense Forces (HPG) killed one Turkish occupation soldier and injured another during a series of operations against the occupation forces in the Medya defense areas in S. Kurdistan.
Today, the HPG’s media center issued a statement regarding operations carried out by the guerrilla forces and Turkish occupation army attacks in the Medya defense areas in S. Kurdistan. The statement included the following details:
“In the Martyr Delil area, west of Zap:
On November 2, at 13:40, our Free Women's Units – Star intercepted occupation soldiers attempting to reach our combat tunnels in the resistance area of Judi Hill.
On November 3, at 23:00, our forces targeted occupation soldiers with sniper fire in the resistance area of Bahar Hill, resulting in the injury of one occupation soldier.
In Metina area:
On November 1, at 21:52, our forces intercepted helicopters in the resistance area in Besheli.
On November 2, at 09:00, our forces targeted occupation soldiers with sniper fire in the resistance area in Shilazah, resulting in the death of one occupation soldier.
On November 2, at 09:10, our forces used semi-automatic weapons to target one of the occupation soldiers' surveillance cameras in the resistance area in Shilazah.
Turkish occupation army attacks with prohibited weapons:
On November 2 and 5, our tunnels in the resistance area of FM Hill, in the Martyr Delil area west of Zap, were bombarded four times with prohibited weapons.
On November 2, our tunnels in the resistance area of Judi Hill in the Martyr Delil area west of Zap were bombarded four times with prohibited weapons.
On November 2, our tunnels in the resistance area in Lolan in the Khakurke area were bombarded twice by suicide drones.
On November 2, our tunnels in the resistance area in Darkal in the Metina area were bombarded twice by suicide drones.
Turkish occupation army attacks:
On November 2, 3, 4, and 5, resistance areas on Rustam Hill, Kendkola, Kala, Barbazan, and Martyr Sharif in the Khakurke area were bombarded by warplanes 15 times. Resistance areas in Derashe, Haftbakh, Kon Hill, Dashta Kafaya, Maskan Hill, and Kani Sarka in the Gari area were bombarded 9 times. Resistance areas in Darkal and Besheli in the Metina area were bombarded 4 times. Resistance areas in Judi Hill and Bahar Hill in the Martyr Delil area, west of Zap, were bombarded 6 times, totaling 34 airstrikes.
On November 1 and 5, the resistance area in Besheli in Metina was attacked twice, and the resistance area in Bahar Hill in the Martyr Delil area, west of Zap, was attacked 6 times by attack helicopters, totaling 6 helicopter attacks.
