How did SDF fighters, welcome new year 2025?

Male and female fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces in the NE Syria region welcomed the new year 2025, inside the battle trenches and fronts defending Syrian territory against the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, sending messages indicating the continuation of the struggle, defense, and insistence on victory.

Today, the world has entered the year 2025, and on the occasion of entering the new year, celebrations took place, including Syria, which witnessed the fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime last month, welcoming the new year without the Baathist regime after the popular movement in 2011.

At a time when the Syrians were preparing to celebrate and enter the new year, the situation was different within the region of NE Syria, which since November 27 of last year have witnessed air and ground attacks launched by the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries, focused on the countryside of Manbij and Kobani.

In the last hours before the start of the new year, male and female fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces chose to participate in welcoming the year and congratulating all Syrians and the world. But they participated in this in their own way from inside the trenches on the front lines with the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries.

The male and female fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces congratulating each other appeared in numerous video scenes published on the forces’ virtual websites, and discussed by journalists and activists.

The male and female fighters sent messages of reassurance, stressing the continuation of the struggle and defense of Syrian lands against the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, and the insistence on victory.
