Hassan Koçer: We rely on ourselves, our own strength in repelling Turkish aggression

Hassan Koçer stressed that the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria relies on itself, its people, and its own forces in the face of the escalating attacks of the Turkish occupation state, far from relying on international powers.

The Turkish occupation state is still continuing to bomb various areas in North and East Syria by land and air, targeting the infrastructure of the region, the number of which has reached 87 sites at the time of preparing this news.

The Deputy co-chairmanship of the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Hassan Koçer, explained to ANHA agency: “With its attacks, Turkey is progressing to annihilate the people of the North and East Syria region, by ending life on this geography, and displacing the people from it. Turkey is working today according to a scorched earth policy.”

Hassan Koçer confirmed that the Turkish occupation state has been working since the beginning of the July 19 Revolution to liquidate the existing democratic project in the region and occupy Syrian lands.

Koçer pointed out: “On the other hand, it wants to revive ISIS again, and this will certainly be a danger to the security and peace of the world, because with the continuation of these attacks, ISIS is working to reorganize itself, and targeting the Al-Sina’a prison in Al-Hasakah is evidence that the goal of the Turkish occupation state is to revive "ISIS."

Hassan Koçer attributed the escalation of attacks on North and East Syria to the attempt of the Turkish occupation state to exploit the conflict the world is witnessing between hegemonic powers and international silence.

Hassan Koçer stressed that the Democratic Autonomous Administration does not rely on any external force to deter the attacks of the Turkish occupation, but rather relies on itself, its people, its own strength, and the democratic forces present in the region to confront these attacks.

He criticized the position of the Damascus government, and said: "From the beginning, there were international and intelligence agreements between the Turkish occupation state and the Damascus government, and other agreements between Turkey and many other countries to liquidate the democratic project in North and East Syria."
