Hasakah governor reviews water sector integration; Allouk pipeline protection

The Governor of Al-Hasakah, Engineer Nour Al-Din Ahmad, met with the Head of the Integration Committee at the Ministry of Energy under the Syrian Interim Government to discuss mechanisms for completing the integration process in the water sector, improving public services, and addressing encroachments on the drinking water pipeline supplied from the Allouk Water Station.

Governor Engineer Nour Al-Din Ahmad held a meeting today with Engineer Khaled Al-Ghazi, Head of the Integration Committee at the Ministry of Energy of the Syrian Interim Government, and Engineer Farhan Al-Owais, Director General of the Al-Hasakah Water Establishment. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Jian Hassan, Head of the Integration Committee representing the Autonomous Administration, to follow up on the implementation of integration procedures in the water sector.

The participants discussed mechanisms for completing the integration of employees from the Water Directorate and the Water Resources Directorate, with the aim of unifying efforts, enhancing operational efficiency, and improving the quality of services provided to citizens in line with the approved implementation plans.

The meeting also addressed the issue of removing illegal encroachments and violations along the water transmission pipeline supplying water from the Allouk Water Station. Participants emphasized the importance of protecting the water infrastructure and taking the necessary measures to ensure the sustainable delivery of safe drinking water to local residents.
