Hasakah Governor meets with Director of Semalka Border Crossing

As part of the follow-up on the integration process and to assess the current operations at the Semalka border crossing with Southern Kurdistan and mechanisms for improving its performance, Hasakah Governor, Engineer Noureddine Ahmed, met with the crossing's director, Hammoud Hammoud, and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, they discussed the workflow at the crossing and the organizational and administrative procedures in place, in addition to discussing the steps related to the integration process and its implementation mechanisms to ensure the continuity and smooth flow of operations according to the approved frameworks.

The governor emphasized the importance of strengthening coordination among the various stakeholders and addressing existing challenges to improve services and facilitate movement, given the vital role the crossing plays in connecting the region to the outside world.

The attendees also stressed the need for continued coordination and consultation in the coming phase to ensure the success of the integration process and achieve optimal results at both the administrative and service levels.
