Hasakah governor meets UNICEF representative in Syria

As part of efforts to strengthen cooperation and improve service delivery and humanitarian conditions in the governorate, Hasakah Governor Eng. Nureddin Ahmed held a meeting today with UNICEF Representative in Syria Merchel Arana and her accompanying delegation.

The meeting was attended by the directors of the Education, Health, and Social Affairs and Labor departments, along with officials responsible for public services in the governorate.

During the meeting, participants discussed several priority service issues, foremost among them the water sector and the Alouk Water Station. The governor reviewed ongoing efforts to rehabilitate the station, stressing his direct supervision of the work aimed at restoring operations and ensuring a stable water supply to the city of Hasakah and its countryside as soon as possible.

The meeting also addressed the state of the education sector and the needs of schools. Discussions focused on the most pressing requirements for the educational process and ways to support educational institutions in order to provide a suitable learning environment for students.

The governor emphasized the importance of continued coordination and cooperation between the relevant authorities and UNICEF in implementing service and humanitarian projects that meet residents' needs and contribute to improving essential services across the governorate.
