Hasakah governor meets Finance and Education Ministers

Hasakah Governor Nureddin Ahmed held separate meetings today with Finance Minister Mohammed Yisr Barnieh and Education Minister Mohammed Abdul Rahman Turko to discuss the activation of financial institutions and the state of education in the governorate, along with staff integration requirements and administrative and technical needs.

The meeting with the finance minister addressed preparations for opening the ministry's institutions and directorates in Hasakah, including the readiness of buildings, offices, and technical networks, the completion of security and administrative requirements, and the provision of the necessary staff to the directorates. The two sides also discussed ongoing integration efforts to ensure the directorates can carry out their duties effectively. They also reviewed the governorate's 2027 budget.

In a separate meeting, the governor discussed the state of the education sector, the challenges it faces, and the integration of educational staff with the education minister in the presence of the minister's deputies.

The meeting emphasized the importance of coordination between the ministry and the governorate to address existing difficulties, ensure the stability of the educational process and the continued provision of services to students, and create suitable conditions for regular schooling across the governorate.
