Hasakah Governor discusses return preparations with residents’ delegation

Hasakah Governor Engineer Nour al-Din Ahmad discussed, during a meeting with a delegation of residents from Hasakah city currently residing in Serekaniye / Ras al-Ain, the necessary steps and measures to create suitable conditions for their return to their areas, as part of efforts to pave the way for the return of Serekaniye residents to their city and promote stability and civil peace.

The Hasakah governor, Engineer Nour al-Din Ahmad, met today with a delegation of residents from Hasakah city living in Serekaniye / Ras al-Ain, as part of preparations and ongoing efforts to establish suitable conditions for their return to their homes, alongside preparations for the return of Serekaniye residents to their city.

Representatives of the Internal Security Forces command in Hasakah province attended the meeting, along with several representatives of the province in the People’s Assembly.

The participants discussed the steps and procedures needed to facilitate the return of residents. The governor also listened to key observations and demands related to the return process and its requirements, in a bid to overcome obstacles facing residents, ensure the success of the process, and enhance stability in the area.

The governor emphasized that the return of residents to their areas is a priority for the upcoming period, stressing the need to strengthen values of tolerance and coexistence among all citizens, avoid hate speech, and promote civil peace while preserving the social fabric of Hasakah province.
