Hasaka governor visits Raqqa to discuss return of displaced persons

Hasaka Governor Nour al-Din Ahmed began an official visit to Raqqa province today, accompanied by Internal Security Commander Marwan al-Ali, his deputy Mahmoud Khalil, and Kurdish figures, to discuss the return of displaced persons and consolidate stability.

Hasaka Governor Noureddine Ahmed visited Raqqa province today, accompanied by the head of Hasaka’s Internal Security Forces, Marwan al-Ali, his deputy, Mahmoud Khalil, and prominent Kurdish figures from Raqqa.

According to sources for ANHA agency, the purpose of the visit was to discuss the general situation of Kurdish citizens in Raqqa province, explore ways to enhance local stability, and create suitable conditions to facilitate the return of more than 2,000 Kurdish families to their homes in Raqqa.

These families are currently residing in the Kobani and Jazera regions after being displaced by the recent war.
